Perfect stop on a road trip. The prices are incredible! For about $6.59 you get a cup of soup, a sandwich/burger, and fries. Forget fast food, come to this family owned place. We were very impressed with the quality of food and the waitress' service.

Place has both a restaurant and bar side. Has a nice ambience that both intrigues and feels homely. Food was priced fairly and food was delicious. Service was great and they even offer a kids menu. They have about 15 beers on tap that offer a wide variety for everybody's taste.

Really good food at a really nice price. In fact, my burger and fries were so big I had to bring half of it home! Besides the good food, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and answered all our questions. This place offers so much more than a chain restaurant and is definitely worth a stop.

We've ate there before but a few things need addressing. Food was served on cold plates so food was like warm and some items are cold. They cooked the ham on the same griddle as they did items with bell peppers, so the ham had that flavor. Sausage gravy had very little sausage in it. Very disappointed this time.

It may not look all that special from the outside, but this will become a must-stop on all our trips through here.The service is fantastic -friendly and skilled. The owners were there, working like everyone else. The food portions are enormous and very reasonably-priced. We both had the gyros and despite our many travels, we agreed that we've never had a better gyro anywhere. Everything is house-made when ever possible and you know it. We both got soup (his was potato, mine vegetable beef) and felt like our own moms were in the kitchen doing the cooking. They also have two options for fries: crinkle cut or house-made. Hubby had a piece of strawberry cheesecake and loved it.Everything about our experience was fantastic!

We were traveling and looking for local food. Wow! This place is a jewel. Large portions and wonderful down home staff. Everything cooked to our liking and freshly made. Mostly local folk packed them out at noon. We were more than satisfied.

Star 63 in Macon, MO was a pleasant surprise. I had not been there before and very much enjoyed the breakfast. They probably serve a larger variety of pie than any place I've ever been! It is easy to drive through a town the size of Macon without stopping, but I would recommend stopping and giving Star 63 a try!

This restaurant has GREAT food and a menu that includes ALL day breakfast, sandwiches and multiple entree's that cover meat and veggie diets. Along with the GREAT food there is a WONDERFUL wait staff that is actually Trained (I'm impressed that the owners train their staff! Thank You.) The Owners are on sight to Welcome customers and address any possible problems. My only negative comment is that I wish they would use cheddar cheese along with the American cheese in their omlets to add a little more flavor.
